Adding an ATM

CPS Portal users can add an ATM in ATM Configuration.

To add an ATM, you must have this information:
  • IP address, which is obtained from Jack Henry Communications group (this information is only necessary for an ATM using a TCP/IP connection)
  • At least one BIN Profile (all ATM types)
  • At least one FIT Profile (Diebold® and NCR® ATMs only)
  • At least one Message ID (Triton® ATMs only)
  1. Select ATM Configuration ATM Configuration.
  2. If you have access to more than one financial institution, select an FI, and then click Go.
  3. Select Add ATM Add ATM.
  4. Copy an existing ATM or create an ATM:

    Copy an existing ATM.
    1. Select Copy an Existing ATM.
    2. Select the ATM type, and then select Next.
    3. Select an ATM from the resulting list, and then select Next.
    Create an ATM.
    1. Select Create a New ATM.
    2. Select the ATM type, and then select Next.
  5. Complete all fields on the Add ATM: Required screen, and then select Next.

    For ATMs that are not in the United States, select International in the State field.

    If you need other options in the Support Teams section, contact Jack Henry Support and request additions.

    The Add ATM: Cassettes screen appears.
  6. Select the denominations for each cassette.
    Set up at least one cassette before continuing.
  7. Select additional options in the Dispensing section, and then select Next.
    The Add ATM: Advanced screen appears.
  8. Make your advanced selections, and then select Next.
  9. Verify your settings on the Add ATM: Summary screen, and then select Finish.

    The following pop-up screen appears after saving an ATM.


    Navigate to Page

    Select ATM Configuration to go to the ATM Configuration screen or ATM Details to go to the ATM Details screen.

The new ATM is added to the list in an inactive state.
After adding the ATM to the portal, contact CPS Hosting Operations to request a re-sync. The re-sync occurs on the following Tuesday or Thursday after the request. The ATM connects to the portal at the time of the re-sync.
