CPS Portal Field Definitions
The following section gives you definitions for fields used in CPS Portal.
- Additional Response Data
Supplemental data, such as a telephone number for referrals, that may be required in response to an authorization request or other type of transaction request. - Amount Requested
The amount requested by the cardholder for this transaction. - ATM Emulation
The terminal driver profile for this ATM. You can configure a few combinations of these profiles. These profiles are combined and listed here under a driver profile. - ATM ID
The 8-digit ID number for the ATM. The first four digits are the institution number. The last four digits are user-defined. - ATM Name
A short name for the ATM that is easier to recognize than the numeric ID. This field is used for reporting and monitoring. ATM names must be unique across all institutions. - Authorization Reason
The reason for the authorization. There are five possible values. - Bills Dispensing Method
The method used when dispensing bills from the ATM: - BIN Profile
You only need to make a selection in this field if you have more than one BIN set up for your institution. Your BIN profiles control surcharges. - Card Data Input Capability
Select the Card Data Input Capability for new or existing Diebold®, NCR, or Triton ATMs. - Card Data Input Method
Select the Card Data Input Method for new or existing Diebold®, NCR, or Triton ATMs. - Card Number
The cardholder's ATM or debit card number. Card numbers can be 13 to 19 digits in length. The first 6 to 9 digits represent the ISO (Internal Standard Organizations) for ATM cards or BIN (Bank Identification Number) for debit cards. - Card Sequence Number
A unique identifier assigned to cards with the same PAN. - Cassette
Enter the denomination or the media that each cassette contains. - Color Theme
The overall color theme for users on the CPS Portal. Changes take effect upon the next sign in. - Connection Type
How the ATM connects to the network. Select either TCP/IP or Dialup. - Credit Surcharge on Partial
If enabled, the full surcharge amount is reimbursed for partial reversals. Full reversal behavior is unaffected by this option. - Date Deployed
The go live date for the ATM. Only future dates are allowed. - Device Availability Profile
Determines which conditions cause the ATM devices to be unavailable. - Dispense Verification
Checks the bills dispensed on a previous transaction each time a new transaction is initiated. - Distribute Bills Rule
Allows the dispensing of multiple smaller bills rather than one large bill when appropriate. - Download Application
The download application currently installed on the ATM. - Dynamic Key Exchange
Determines how often in hours a dynamic key exchange occurs. - EJ Upload Options
Select if the Electronic Journal should be uploaded. - EMV Version
Select an EMV Version for new or existing Diebold® ATMs. - Enable Denomination Security
If enabled, the Triton® node does not process a transaction request if the media configuration received from the terminal is different than the media information configured through the Terminal Configurator console. - Enabled
Check this box if the team or team member is active. - Escalation Retries/Time Between Retries
These fields contain the number of retries it took for the email notifications to be sent to entered email address and the time between retries in hh:mm format. - Expiration Date

The date the card expires. A value of 999999 signifies that the card will never expire. - FIT Profile
You only need to make a selection if you have more than one FIT profile set up for your institution. - From Account
The account number the funds are debited from. - From Account Type
The type of account the funds are debited from. - Heartbeat
Time in minutes that the ATM can sit idle before logging an event. Enter 0 to turn off. - IP Address
The external IP address for the ATM. - Issuer Network ID
A code identifying the EFT network that authorized the transaction. - Language
The language displayed on the ATM screen. - Last Tran Time
This field displays the time of the last transaction for the selected ATM. - Load Set Group / Configuration Profile
The group of information included in a load set download. These are smaller downloads that include only states and screens. The available options in this field depend on your selection in the Download Application field. - Locale
This field contains the location of the support team or team member. - Max Message Length
Maximum number of bytes that may be sent in any message to the ATM. - Max Printer Data Length
Enter the maximum data length for the NCR ATM's printer in the Max Printer Data Length field. - Max Withdrawal Cash Bills
A physical limitation on how many bills the ATM can dispense for any single transaction under any circumstances. Increasing the number of bills that can dispense could result in more cash dispenser jams. - Message Type
The type of initial message that was sent. This message type does not change for the life of the transaction. - Misc. Features Profile
Manages transaction counts performed by the ATM. At the end of each transaction, the system performs a canister read of the previous transaction to ensure that the number of bills dispensed is accurate. When it is inaccurate, the previous transaction is reversed. - Name
This field contains the name of the support team or team member. - On-Duty Schedule
Check the days of the week the team member is on-duty. - Online Transaction Number
The number assigned to the transaction by the switch. - Operating Environment
A physical description of the environment where the ATM resides. - Options/Timers Profile
Specifies the options and timers to download to the ATM. - Page Auto Refresh Window
The amount of time that passes while logged in before the data on the user's current screen refreshes. - Parallel Dispense and Print
If selected, the ATM ejects the card, prints the receipt, and dispenses cash at the same time. This option is rarely used. - Password Expiration Alert
The amount of time in advance that users get a password expiration pop-up and email notification. - Phone
Enter the user's phone numbers in Phone1, Phone2, and Phone3. Entry in Phone1 is required. Entry in Phone2 and Phone3 is optional. - Printer Width
The character width of the receipt printer on the ATM. - Receipt Group
Defines which receipts are used by an ATM. - Region
This field contains the time zone region in which the support team is located. - Retrieval Reference Number
A number assigned by the system used to assist in locating the original transaction. - Security Question Configured
A check in the Security Question Configured? field indicates that a security question was configured for the selected user. - Send Current Time to Terminal
Select this option to update the date and time from the Postilion Triton application when the first message from the terminal is received. This option is not supported on old versions of firmware. - Serial Number
Enter the serial number for NCR or Diebold® ATMs in this field. - Session Timeout Window
The amount of time a session can be inactive before the system logs the user out. - Stand-In Member
This field contains the stand-in member that is to be contacted if the selected team member is unavailable. - Start and End
- Street / City / State / Zip Code / Country
The physical address of the ATM. - Successful Amount
The amount completed by the ATM or the POS merchant for this transaction. - Support Teams
The support teams responsible for this ATM. The available options for these fields are set up by Jack Henry. - Surcharge Requested Amount
The amount of the surcharge associated with the original request. - Surcharge Response Amount
The amount of surcharge tied to the amount the cardholder received. - System Trace Audit Number
A unique value generated by the requesting host or device to assist with matching a request message with the subsequent response. - To Account
The account number the funds are credited to. - To Account Type
The type of account the funds are credited to. - Terminal Mode
The current mode the ATM is in. This mode determines whether an ATM is available for customers to use. - Terminal Profile
Triton terminal profiles are configured in the Triton ATM Configurator. The usual value is Default Profile. - Time Zone
The time zone that the physical ATM resides in. - Transaction Type
The plain English description of the transaction type message code. This is separate from the ISO8583 message type code. - Transaction Limit Profile
Maximum dollar amount dispensed per transaction. - Two vs One Rule
This rule causes the terminal to dispense two smaller bills where ordinarily only one would be dispensed to the cardholder. - Workday Begins/Ends
These fields contain the time the workday begins and ends for the support team or team member in hh:mm format.
